• Chatrapati Shivaji Museum ( Prince of Wales Museum), near Gateway of India, nearest railway station is CST. From CST it only take 5 Min ride on taxi & around Rs.30 to Gateway of India.

• Nehru Panetorium or Nehru Science Center, Doctor Annie Besant Road, nearest railway station is Mahalakshmi.You can take a taxi from the station, the taxi will take you to the planetorium passing by Haji Ali.

• Jhangir Art Gallery which is opposite of Chatrapati Shivaji Museum.

• You can watch a 4D movie show at Atria Mall,Worli;the tickect costs around Rs.300 per person.Nearest station Byculla.

• Naval Museum, near Asiatic Society, or near Lion Gate-Elephant Gate ,Naval Docks aslo accessible from Gate Way of India.

For years, scientists have done research & development on the universe, trying to find its origin, its creator but i think they have actually forgot the meaning of research; R-E-S-E-A-R-C-H means going back to what was years ago, by this you can understand that by doing more research in fact they have complicated themselves.It is not possible to explain what is universe? how was it created? How big is it? Is God real? If not how was life created on earth?.

The best thing is not to question too much? If you believe in God then, think that God has given us the opportunity to be on the earth, lead a good life, and not to wander out of the earth. Because he has alloted only earth to humans, you should be happy with what you have!.Whats the use of pouring money on moon,mars etc. when you cannot take care of one beautiful earth.

Today i renewed my ISP to 24Online speed 4Mbps 3GB usage @ Rs.300 only!

Wow the Speed is great, 4Mbps only @ Rs.300 as Compared to 1Mbps 400Mb usage @Rs.250 from BSNL.I think 24Online is better.This is the first time am using it though.But still i think BSNl is good & reliable.

Museum Building and its History (Architect, style, conservation) It is a Grade I Heritage Building of the city and is set in a well laid out garden which retains its original plan. It has been awarded first place for Heritage Building Maintenance by the Indian Heritage Society. Today, this museum houses about 50,000 artefacts and has an outstanding collection comprising of sculptures, terracotta’s, bronzes, excavated artefacts from the Harappan sites, Indian miniature paintings, European paintings, porcelain and ivories from China and Japan, etc. Besides these, the Museum has a separate Natural History section.  The architect of the building, George Wittet, was selected after an open competition in 1909. Wittet is known for the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture of which this museum is one of the best examples. The Indo-Saracenic style combines Hindu and Saracenic architectural forms, at times incorporating some elements of Western architecture. The Indian pillared hall, the arched pavilion, the dome rising above the huge intersecting arches forming a beautiful geometrical pattern-all these together make the Museum building a typical example of the Indo-Saracenic style. Small jalis for light and wind add to the grandeur of the building. George Wittet skilfully incorporated the original wooden arched pavilion purchased from a royal house (wada) at Nasik in Maharashtra, as a circular railing on the first floor of the building. The dome of this building is designed after the Gol Gumbaz of Bijapur and the finial is copied from the Taj at Agra.

Prince of Wales Museum,Mumbai (Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya)

Founded in the early 1900s, this Museum is one of the premier cultural institutions in the country. On the 14th August 1905, a number of prominent people of Bombay gathered at the Town Hall and resolved to erect a Memorial to the visit of the Prince of Wales (later King George V) in the form of a public Museum which, would be named after him. The meeting was attended by Sir Pherozeshah Mehta, Justice Badrudin Tyabji, Narotamdas Gokuldas, Justice Chandavarkar, Sasson J. David and many other dignitaries known for their outstanding contribution in their respective fields and also in the development of the island of Bombay. The Foundation Stone of the Museum was laid by the Prince of Wales on 11th November 1905 and the Museum was named Prince of Wales Museum of Western India. For a long time people had also felt the need for a good museum in the city and finally the museum was established by the public contribution aided by the then Government of the Bombay Presidency.

Finally, this concept would include a wide array of recreational and athletic facilities, worthy of a world-class resort, making Freedom Ship a veritable "Community on the Sea."

This picture you see on the left of a gadget that looks like a mike is actually the 360 degree camera used in the GSVC. It is mounted on the car. The car has one laptop with GPS Navigation sytem.
